  1. Sleeping between 7-9 hours every night leads to a more energetic and heart happy lifestyle.
  2. Stress management: utilizing healthy habits and stress relievers such as: getting active, connecting with others and getting adequate sleep to keep anxiety and stress to a minimal.
  3. Healthy eating habits. Having an all-around well-balanced diet including fresh fruits, vegetables, gains and proteins.
  4. Drink plenty of water. Roughly intake of 100 ounces of water daily. This helps with staying hydrated, helps with hunger cravings and also can help clear up skin.
  5. Limiting screen time. Getting up off the couch or taking a break from your cell phone can help with overall emotional health. In today’s society we are all so drawn to our screens we tend to lose track of time.
  6. Be active. Getting a least 30 minutes of physical activity a day. Walking your dog, playing a sport, jumping rope, jogging at a park, hiking, or going to the gym.
  7. Get outside! Enjoy the fresh air and sun. Spending time outdoors can help reduce stress and depression, restore overall focus and increases your mood.
  8. Socialize. Getting to spend time with friends and family can help you build healthy connections which in turn can lead to comfort and positive communication skills.
  9. You time. Having alone time to be with your thoughts and giving yourself time to destress from the everyday clutter will help with metal focus and overall happiness. You have to able to be comfortable being alone with you.
  10. Read. Reading can help improve cognitive functions, creativity and memory.
