Ninth Annual Asheville Metro Economy Outlook

Don't miss the ninth annual Asheville Metro Economy Outlook, a presentation of the latest significant economic trends by the Chamber's Asheville Metro Business Research Center. Parsec Financial Management's Chief Economist, Dr. James F. Smith, and Tom Tveidt, director of the Asheville Metro Business Research Center, will provide insights and observations on the national and local economy. Annual Meeting of the Economic Development Coalition

for Asheville - Buncombe County

  • Learn what the EDC has accomplished in the past year and review its goals and measures

  • Hear from EDC partners in both city and county government

Mega Networking set for August 8

Mega Networking is a bi-annual event that gives Chamber members an opportunity to meet prime business contacts in a unique and entertaining format. Two advertising opportunities for Asheville based businesses

 Local businesses looking to showcase their offerings to visitors and new residents of Asheville can sign up to advertise in either the Official Asheville Visitor Guide or the Chamber sponsored relocation magazine Asheville.

Third Annual Elected Officials Reception

Chamber members will have a great opportunity to meet and network with public and private leaders from throughout our region on August 21 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Chamber during the Third Annual Elected Officials Reception. Elected officials from Buncombe, Haywood, Henderson, Madison, and Transylvania counties, as well as municipalities in our region have been invited to participate. The American Cancer Society has partnered with Asheville’s Fun Depot this summer to “FUN”D A CURE! Bring your family in to Asheville’s Fun Depot on Monday, August 4 between 5 - 8 p.m.  All guests who mention “FUN”D A CURE will receive two hours of fun for just $15 (regularly $24.99). Each card sold raises $5 for the American Cancer Society for cancer research, education and local programs and services. Grab a bite at the Depot Diner and 10% of your bill will also be donated to the American Cancer Society.
