Seminar: Powerful Public Speaking
Date: Saturday, April 14th 2012
Time: 10:00am to 2:00pm
Description:
The ability to inform, engage, persuade and inspire others is an
invaluable skill for anyone who wants to advance their career, yet
75% of the population hates public speaking.
Nonetheless, most of us will be called upon at some point in our professional lives to make a presentation to a committee or board, facilitate a training session for a large group of new hires, or deliver a speech at a conference or convention. Even sitting at a conference table, we are often called upon to speak, with little or no notice. Most of us simply allow others to do the talking. Yet we all know that those who speak well, do well.
So, who will speak for you? This workshop empowers any participant to
approach public speaking like a good actor approaches a starring role: with
practice, preparation, and passion. Enrollment limited to 8.
$250 per participant. Includes lunch.
