Buncombe County has an unemployment rate of 8% and yet there is a shortage of qualified local employees. How do we bridge the skills gap?
Join us on Monday, March 5 for a symposium on the skills our workforce needs today and especially as we plan for the future. Business input is critical to identifying crucial skills needs of our area’s workforce and in determining the best way to address the skills gap and position our community for future business success.
The symposium will be held from 8-10 a.m. in the Haynes Center, Room 200 at A-B Tech Enka Site at 1459 Sand Hill Road.
