Washington D.C.Each year the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce leads a group of local officials, business leaders and Chamber employees to our nation’s capitol to advocate for issues affecting Western North Carolina. The Chamber arranges meetings with our senators and electoral delegation in the House of Representatives to ensure Western North Carolina’s voice is heard. Issues we pursue on a federal level include: transportation and infrastructure, education and training, healthcare, tort reform, community development, economic development, immigration, and energy. |
