Teacher Incentive Program

Chamber members and the Asheville City and Buncombe County school systems work together to offer newly hired educators the opportunity to take advantage of discounts on banking, moving expenses, hotels and other services to welcome educators to our community and to ease their expense for transitioning into the Asheville area. Upon being hired, the educator will receive a Teacher Incentive Packet from the school system including Asheville area literature and various incentive certificates. Chamber members who are interested in offering incentives should contact the Workforce Development Department at (828) 258-6118. Newly hired educators can contact school systems for more specific information on the Teacher Incentive Program.
