NEXT AVL is a 9-month professional mentorship program that pairs local university students with working professionals who offer connection, mentorship, and professional development. Through NEXT AVL, students will expand their professional networks and opportunities in Asheville so that they can pursue the NEXT step in their life after graduation as a young professional here – in AVL.
PROpel AVL provides resources and opportunities for emerging leaders (ages 21-40) in the Asheville/Buncombe area. Less structured than our NEXT AVL mentor program, PROpel AVL pairs young professionals with seasoned professionals to foster connections that develop future leaders in our community. Plans for the mentor aspect of PROpel AVL are still underway.
