As the largest business organization in Western North Carolina, the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce serves as a lead advocate for business issues and works to create a business-friendly environment in our community —representing the interest of business on a local, state and federal level.

The Chamber monitors legislation and works closely with Asheville City Council, Buncombe County Board of Commissioners, North Carolina General Assembly and congressional leaders in Washington, D.C. to ensure that interests of the business community are well-represented in public policy decisions.

As the convener of community leaders and influencers, the Asheville Chamber provides a forum for significant, relevant community discussions and policies impacting business. With opportunities for members to meet with elected officials through public policy forums, legislative receptions, and legislative visits, we stay one step ahead of issues facing the community.
