A Q+A with Realtor Marilyn Wright

In 2018, Marilyn Wright earned the distinction as top producer for Sotheby’s International Realty for the Asheville office. In our Q+A, she shares her approach to real estate and what makes her a unique agent in her field.

Tell us about your business and the role you play in it.

I am hands on in all aspects. I like to know where I am marketing and that it is a very direct example of me. I strive to be unique, actually uncommon.  Stellar reviews and my clients become my lifelong friends.

What makes your business unique in its field?

My approach to my clients business makes me unique in my field.

How many employees do you have? And what qualities do you look for when hiring?

I currently employ one part time 30 year agent/assistant. My assistant needs to be knowledgeable (I have no time to train), honest, very trustworthy, and must be an overall asset to my business.

During your first year of business, what was the greatest lesson you learned?

Don’t let the economy or business into your thinking about your business.

Where do you see your business in the next year?

I strive to be one of the Top 20 agents in Asheville/WNC.

Why did you decide to join the Chamber:

To make the local business connects and let them get to know me as well.

What is your favorite part about doing business in the Asheville are?

Our family has been here for 7&8 generations and I know this region like no other.

What else would you like to share about your business?

You will find my approach totally different than most agents/firms, and that they realize how authentic I am.
