  • South College has launched a new Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) program through its Competency-Based Education (CBE) model—believed to be the only DMSc of its kind in the U.S. Designed for Physician Assistants seeking career advancement, the online program allows students to progress at their own pace while focusing on Instructional or Healthcare Leadership.   • Mission Health invites the community to an open house at its newly renovated neurological care center on Thursday, July 24, from 4–6:30 p.m. at 7 Vanderbilt Park Drive.   • New Morning Gallery is proud to announce the launch of Golden Hour, a new early evening event series featuring local artists who bring light, creativity, and color to Asheville’s art scene. The first event in the series will take place on Wednesday, August 7, from 4–6 PM, and will feature painter Amy Noack and wood artist Bud Gray live and in person at the gallery in Historic Biltmore Village. Golden Hour is designed to spotlight the artists behind the work, offering visitors a relaxed and engaging opportunity to meet the makers, hear their stories, and experience the beauty of their work up close.
