In good company: Chamber president makes Business NC’s Power 100

February 12, 2018

Asheville Chamber president Kit Cramer was recently named to Business NC’s Power 100. Highlighting NC’s most influential business leaders, the Power 100 is Business NC’s list of “influential folks who are making significant impact in their enterprises, industries and…the broader community.”

Kit joined the Asheville Chamber in 2010, having worked previously at the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce for 17 years in all areas of chamber work and as the President of the International Downtown Association in Washington, DC. She is a former at-large board member of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Board of Education and was Public Information Officer for two school systems. She currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) and as Chamber Federation chair on the North Carolina Chamber board.

On a list unsurprisingly packed with business leaders in Charlotte and Raleigh, Kit is one of four Ashevillians named to the Power 100. Joining her are Jack Cecil of Biltmore Farms, Ron Paulus of Mission Health and Leah Ashburn of Highland Brewing.
