Tell us about your business and the role you play in it.
I opened HomeSource Realty in April 2022. We are a full-service real estate brokerage focusing on residential properties and land. We currently have 6 licensed agents affiliated with our firm that all carry various knowledge of our market and are true neighborhood experts. We pride ourselves on providing our clients with completely transparent service and maintaining an impeccable reputation amongst our Realtor peers.
How did you get your idea or concept for the business? How did you decide on a name?
The concept for our brand came very organically. After spending years building my expertise and loyal client base in our local real estate market, I decided it was time to start my firm. My husband, Tim Alexander, successfully operates HomeSource Builders and HomeSource Design Center. It seemed an obvious choice to launch HomeSource Realty and join forces once more. We are now aligned to help better serve all of our clients.
What makes your business unique in its field?
We are client and relationship-focused, not sales-focused. We take the time to get to know our clients and take all the time needed to help them find the best options for them.
Our business is 98% referral based because of the relationships we respect, create, and foster. We exceed expectations and always go the extra mile. We are never too busy to help friends and family referred by our loyal clients.
Why did you decide to join the Chamber?
We joined the Chamber to better serve our clients and community. The services and programs offered will help us grow and have provided us with tremendous networking opportunities.
What is your favorite part about doing business in the Asheville area?
I moved here 32 years ago and this will always be home. I love helping others discover and become part of our incredible community. Asheville is so dynamic! Our mountains are majestic, our restaurants are amazing, the music, art, architecture, and culture offer something for everyone.
