Tell us about your business and the role you play in it.
UpTalent Consulting is a local HR consulting firm that provides total talent solutions for startups and rapidly growing companies. We help leaders that don’t have the time to manage day-to-day HR issues and tasks. We assist our clients by putting into place the best people, processes, and tools to mitigate business risks while helping to increase the bottom line.
What’s a little-known fact or trivia about your business?
I have a master’s degree in IT Management, which brings value when helping our clients use technology to reduce administrative time, assist with hiring and onboarding, speed up communication, improve compliance and simplify payroll processing, among other things.
Where did your career find its start? How did you get involved with your company?
Before establishing UpTalent Consulting last year, I worked in the role of Vice President of Talent Acquisition and Corporate Human Resources for BrightSpring Health Services. In these positions, I was responsible for all the company’s talent acquisition operations, and also had direct oversight over Corporate HR. Prior to joining BrightSpring, I was the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition for Compass Group North America.
What is the greatest business advice you’ve been given?
Let’s start with a clean sheet of paper. We start with nothing but a blank sheet of paper and the customer’s needs.
What is most important to you/your company now?
Focusing my company around my client’s needs and fostering a culture dedicated to enhancing client satisfaction, while building strong client relationships.
What do you see as your company’s legacy?
UpTalent’s legacy will be revealed through our client’s successes and profitability.
