Tell us about your business
We were founded on a commitment to customer service, reliability, safety and lasting results in an industry where few have the expertise to deal with all the needs of commercial facilities both new and old. WNC Roofing values responsive service and thorough workmanship. We have dedicated people to answer the phone and return any messages promptly and also send clients photo documentation of the work that was done on their facility.
We believe in making roof management easy and transparent for our clients so they can stay focused on their business and not managing mops and buckets.
Where did your vision begin? How has it grown?
Our owner, Sean Ross, started off fixing chimney flashing and roofing custom houses after a career in civil and commercial construction. He saw the need for a company that specialized in commercial roofing and also picked up the phone when people called. That has grown into us serving Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina while continuing to stay dedicated to responsive customer service and a focus on only commercial and industrial roofing.
Who are your key partners?
Our key partners are local building owners and managers that we work with consistently to keep their buildings leak free. We also partner with local and national manufacturers and suppliers for quality materials and warranties. We also partner with ISN and FM Global for larger facilities that have very detailed safety and scope of work standards.
What is a little-known fact about your organization?
We are one of the few roofing companies in the area that only specializes in commercial roofing. We do not work on any residential homes.
If you had to give one piece of advice to someone just starting out in your field, what would it be?
Stick with it. Commercial roofing isn’t easy. It is a specialized industry that requires a lot of attention to detail and safety.
What does the word “community” mean to you?
Community means being a trusted, invested and contributing member of the places we serve – Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina – while helping ensure that the region’s commercial buildings remain safe, productive and built to last.
