Given the day-to-day stress of financial instability, the rising cost of living and the strain of discrimination, families experiencing poverty and people who were previously incarcerated experience complex barriers to securing and retaining well-paying jobs in high-demand industries.

That’s why we’re working in collaboration with the Housing Authority of the City of Asheville, UpSkill WNC, A-B Technical Community College, Community Action Opportunities, the SPARC Foundation, On-Track Financial Education & Counseling and the Mountain Area Workforce Development Board to recruit local employers to a new team: Inclusive Hiring Partners.

By joining Inclusive Hiring Partners, employers agree to level the playing field for people in historically marginalized communities by reducing or eliminating barriers in hiring and employment.
