Sponsored by TD Bank, this award recognizes a woman who has distinguished herself in her non-profit organization, her profession, and her community. The recipient epitomizes the spirit of the WomanUP initiative by utilizing her abilities to develop or improve a program or service that significantly advances women in the non-profit workplace.
The candidate should work for a nonprofit that is an Asheville Chamber member based in, founded in or with a significant presence in Buncombe County.
Winner is chosen by the WomanUP volunteer committee, comprised of representatives from small business to large corporations, based on the merit of the application and quality of supporting documentation. Winner will be honored at the WomanUP Celebration.
