​​Pisgah Fund has announced its first investment in GoCheck, creator of GoCheck Kids, the leading digital vision screening platform protecting children from vision impairment and blindness. With this investment, GoCheck will open an Operations Support Center and build out a team in Western North Carolina to support its growing platform and customer partnerships both in the U.S. and globally.  Vision impairment is the most prevalent disabling childhood condition. ​​AdventHealth Hendersonville has named Chloe Harden, BSN, RNC-OB as its Director of The Baby Place at AdventHealth. Harden has been part of the nursing team in The Baby Place for more than 10 years, most recently serving as Nurse Manager for the mother and baby unit. Harden earned her associate degree in nursing from Blue Ridge Community College in Hendersonville, N.C., and completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C. She joined the AdventHealth Nursing team as a certified nurse aid in 2007. The combination of various aspects of patient care and nursing leadership led to Harden’s nomination for participation in AdventHealth’s Emerging Leaders Program. The Baby Place at AdventHealth offers a comprehensive, whole-person approach to maternity care. Board-certified OB/GYN physicians, expert pediatric providers, and specialty-trained nursing staff help guide and support patients through the labor and delivery experience. Learn more here.
