  • For the third year in a row, First Bank has been recognized as North Carolina’s Best-In-State Bank by Forbes. According to Forbes, banks were scored based on “… an independent survey of more than 25,000 U.S. consumers who were asked to rate banks at which they have or previously had checking accounts. They also assessed banks in ‘Trust,’ ‘Terms & Conditions,’ ‘Branch Services,’ Digital Services,’ ‘Customer Service,’ and ‘Financial Advice.’” This achievement comes on the heels of First Bank’s announced acquisition of Select Bank, a deal that is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year.
