In the last month, Express Pros reports increased activity in cleaning projects, as well as in the manufacturing and distribution industry. Their hiring process can be done entirely remotely, and they are working to place applicants as quickly as possible.

Friday Staffing Services works throughout the entire region of Western North Carolina; currently, they have positions open in Waynesville, Asheville, and Mills River for essential positions. Applications and interviews will be conducted over the phone.

Harmony at Reynolds Mountain 

Harmony at Reynolds Mountain is currently hiring for housekeeping, dining services, and receptionists. They are streamlining the hiring process to get new hires in the door quickly, as well as protective procedures to keep their Independent, Assisted, and Memory Care communities safe.

The U.S. Census Bureau 

The Census Bureau still seeking applicants to help count the 2020 Census, and the positions are part-time, flexible, hourly, and don’t affect other benefit programs you may already be enrolled in. In Buncombe County, Census takers can expect an hourly wage of $19 per hour.

Autobell

Autobell is hiring and looking for assistance in reaching those individuals that may be looking for employment opportunities. They have implemented safety procedures that include hospital grade, EPA-approved disinfectant to keep customers and employees safe.

Bonus: There’s also a special deal for essential workers; first responders and government employees may can come in disinfecting services for free.

Ingles 

To ensure stores and the distribution center have the support they need, Ingles plans to hire more than 5,000 additional associates. Adding more positions is intended to provide relief to their current employees as well as have more helping hands for their enhanced cleaning standards.

Earth Fare 

You may have heard that Earth Fare is back. It’s true, and they are currently hiring for the Westgate store’s reopening. They are opening applications down to department manager, and plan to restore the majority of the jobs that were lost when the store closed (so, about 100 positions). Earth Fare is expected to re-open this summer.
