Chamber celebrates local food and drink at Asheville Bites & Sips

The Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a new food and beverage event, Asheville Bites and Sips on May 17th.

Asheville Bites and Sips showcases local food and drink from some of Asheville’s finest restaurants and breweries and will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Wilma M. Sherrill Center at UNC Asheville on Thursday, May 17th.

Asheville Bites and Sips showcases local food and drink from some of Asheville’s finest restaurants and breweries and will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Wilma M. Sherrill Center at UNC Asheville on Thursday, May 17th.

“Asheville Bites and Sips puts a fresh spin on the Chamber’s annual culinary event,” said Asheville Chamber’s President and CEO Kit Cramer. “Rather than a sit-down affair, Asheville Bites and Sips will have a more casual and uniquely Asheville feel. We want people to come sample bites and sips from Chamber members while connecting with one another and really enjoying a sense of community.”

Tickets are $40 for food and alcohol and can be purchased at www.ashevillechamber.org. IDs will be required at the event.

Asheville Bites and Sips is a fundraiser that supports Chamber programming aimed at fostering success of the business community, creating an environment for business and growing jobs.
