Master Scheduler ($65K – $75K)

General Description:

The production schedule is responsible for establishing, reviewing and maintaining the production schedule in alignment with the Production Plan. Establishing the production schedule will involve working closely with operations leaders, and others to coordinate manufacturing plans that achieve the company objectives relative to customer service, efficient resource/capacity utilization and inventory investment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Establishes daily production manufacturing schedule to meet the customer demands consistent with master scheduling requirements, inventory objectives, and service level goals.
  • Coordinates raw material requirements.
  • Implements production tools for building to actual customer demands, prioritizing builds, expediting and automating transactions per Lean concepts.
  • Coordinates manufacturing activities. Meets daily with cross-functional team to resolve component shortages, overtime, priorities, and identified problems.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with customer and corporate headquarter

Necessary Skills & Experience:

  • Maintain detailed knowledge of internal processes and controls.
  • Experience with EDI and reconciling customer demands
  • Able to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Broad working knowledge and experience with standard work instructions.
  • Must possess a strong customer service orientation and must provide dedicated support of internal and external customer requirements.
  • Must be a strong written and verbal communicator, able to communicate to various audiences effectively

Training & Education:

  • BS in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Min. Yrs. Experience: 2 in a multi-step manufacturing environment
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of plant receiving and materials movement processes
  • Basic Computer Skills (MS Office) and ability to use plant IT programs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrate root cause analysis skills
  • Work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines

Senior Maintenance Tech (Pay $22-36/hr)

·  Must be flexible to work 1st and 2nd shift

General Description: The Industrial Electrician position is a core component of our maintenance department and requires a trained and experienced individual. The successful candidate will be a leader in safety. The candidate will also have the ability to function well either working alone or in a team environment. The duties of this position will include but not be limited to performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, calibration, installation and all necessary support of the equipment. The systems include CNC Machines, hydraulic, pneumatic, high voltage switchgear (480V to 34.5 kV), overhead travelling cranes, motors, conveyors, weigh systems, VFD drives, PLC systems etc. The position is also expected to support and work with the Mechanical Maintenance Technician. 

Necessary Skills & Experience:

·  3-5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Electrical Technician or equivalent.

·  Associates degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering Technologies or equivalent military or other related training required, Bachelor of Science in related field preferred.

·  Experience with Siemens S7 PLC hardware and software.

·  Experience with industrial communication networks (Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet).

·  Experience with PID control loops and combustion controls.

Maintenance Tech ($16-22/hr)

General Description:

Assist in ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions

Necessary Skills & Experience:

·         Basic skills in pneumatic and hydraulic systems

·         Ability to learn on European equipment (Siemens, Festo) preferred

·         Basic background in welding and machining preferred

·         Basic knowledge with computer systems

Training & Education:

High School or GED preferred 

Able to travel 2-3 weeks per year for training

Overtime work in required at times

Company may provide continuous educational programs

CNC Schuette/CNC Machinist ($16 – 24/hr)

General Description:

Produces machined parts on a multi-spindle turning center, change tools inserts, operate a computer numerical control (CNC) machine,  maintains quality and safety standards; keeps records; maintain equipment and supplies.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • 2nd Shift: 6pm – 6am
  • Perform CNC Operations

·         Operate high production, multi-spindle turning center (9 spindle) w/automatic bar stock loader & cooling unit

·         Perform Operator required SPC Testing

·          

Necessary Skills & Experience

·         Must understand basic blueprint reading

·         Must understand basic gauging techniques

·         Ability to perform all required activities through use of metric system

·         Must understand the basic tooling; turning tools, milling and drilling tools

·         Must understand the basic movements of the machine axis’s (X, Y, & Z)

Training & Education:

Completion of accredited CNC curriculum, combined with 2 to 5 years CNC turning experience preferably on multi-spindle machines

CNC Machine Operators ($12-13.50/hr)

General Description:

Produces machined parts per specifications, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine.  Operator is also responsible for maintaining quality and safety standards; maintaining appropriate records, as well as maintaining equipment and supplies.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

·         2nd Shift: 6pm – 6am

·         Perform CNC Operations

·         Operate machines in accordance with process sheets and any other required paperwork (i.e. drawings, specifications, etc.).

·         Retrieve CNC programs from system files and execute.

·         Use manufacturing paperwork (travelers, blueprints, sketches, etc.) to: Manufacture product that meets quality requirements. Inspect and verify work prior to submitting for inspection. If non-conforming, process via non-conforming material procedures

Necessary Skills & Experience:

·                   Must know the basic geometry of cutting tools

·                   Basic Shop Math

·                   Ability to work independently

·                   Self-motivated

·                   Must  have basic blueprint reading abilities

·                   Basic computer skills

  

Training & Education:

·                   HS Diploma or Equivalent

·                   Previous CNC training: HS Program, Technical School, or Military Training

Packaging Operators 

·         F/T Openings on 2nd Shift: 2pm-10pm

·         P/T Holiday Weekend Shift (Saturday & Sunday: 6AM – 4PM)

General Description:

Packaging machined parts, maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, maintaining equipment and supplies.

 Necessary Skills & Experience:

·         Self -starter with ability to multi-task and prioritize work day/projects independently

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

·         Basic computer knowledge

Training & Education:

High School or GED preferred
