Year-end donations to Western Carolina Medical Society support health needs and prevention

December 10, 2012

More than a quarter of the Western Carolina Medical Society (WCMS) Foundation’s annual operating budget is supported by revenue from Foundation events, designated charitable program contributions, and donations to their Annual Fund.

Gifts to the Annual Fund help support the Foundation’s top three initiatives: access to care, reducing health disparity, and wellness and prevention.  Project Access® is the flagship program of the WCMS Foundation. The Western Carolina Medical Society Foundation is a non-profit 501(c) (3) institution created to raise funds for its programs. Your annual fund gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

A holiday gift of a donation to the WCMS Foundation’s Project Access® program offers friends and family the opportunity to share in the hope and joy of giving access to healthcare for those in our community who are uninsured or disadvantaged.

A personal donation to the Medical Society’s charitable programs is a gift that gives all year long and helps support the Medical Society.

To give the gift of a donation to Project Access® or a designated gift to another Foundation program go to: https://co.clickandpledge.com/advanced/default.aspx?wid=42530. At the bottom of the donation form you will be able to make a gift in honor or memory of someone special if you so desire.
