  • Biltmore Farms Hotels today announced that its four Asheville properties, DoubleTree by Hilton Asheville-Biltmore, Hilton Asheville Biltmore Park, Hampton Inn & Suites Asheville-Biltmore Village and Residence Inn Biltmore, have received the 2018 TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence award.  In addition, Roux, the signature restaurant of the Hilton Asheville has also received the hospitality honor.
  • Emerald Village is pleased to announce that, for the 4th year in a row, Emerald Village has received a 2018 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, based on consistently great reviews earned on the world’s largest travel site.


  • AMP-Connect is honored to highlight Sharon Suess from Blue Ridge Community College in its upcoming “Women In STEM” exhibit at the Asheville Museum of Science (AMOS). The full synopsis of the upcoming exhibit can be viewed here. 
  • Asheville Symphony Board of Directors President Doris Phillips Loomis and Executive Director David Whitehill are pleased to announce that conductor Darko Butorac will become the organization’s next music director beginning with the 2018-2019 Masterworks Season, which opens in September.


  • Immedion LLC, a provider of IT infrastructure solutions including Cloud, colocation and managed IT services, today announced its further expansion in the Midwest region through the acquisition of a data center in Columbus, Indiana. Formerly operated by Data Cave, this 86,400-square foot facility brings an added layer of geographic diversity to both companies and offers previous Data Cave customers access to Immedion’s enterprise-colocation facilities and full suite of ultra-reliable, high performance Cloud services. This acquisition brings Immedion to eight data centers located in seven markets.

  • The Tryon International Equestrian Center is hosting a signature series of Saturday night Grand Prix horse shows and is in search of volunteers. Watch the horse show while you support international competition. Volunteer positions include: Greeter, Information Booth, Kids Activities, and Shuttle Cart Driver, 5:00pm to 9:30pm.
