Asheville’s Internet Marketing agency, JB Media Group, unveiled its new West Asheville headquarters on April 30th with an open house party attended by 150 people comprised of staff, clients, partners, JB Media Institute students, and friends of the company. Earlier in the day, Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce members attended a special ribbon cutting ceremony for the new office space.
The celebrations mark the third anniversary for JB Media Group, which was started by Justin Belleme in 2011, and has grown to include nine team members covering the full spectrum of online marketing across strategy, research, content creation, SEO (search engine optimization), advertising, social media, and public relations.
Belleme purchased the new office space in West Asheville to fit the needs of his growing staff and company. Prior to moving, the company operated out of Mojo Coworking in downtown Asheville, where the JB Media Group team, then only three members, originally began its operations. The new office is located at at 915 Haywood Rd., Suite 101, and features an open floor plan with assorted working pods–including standing desks and bicycle desks–a kitchenette with a work bar, and a private conference space that doubles as a classroom for the JB Media Institute.
A Fresh New Look
Moving to the new office with a growing team proved the perfect time to embrace a fresh new look for JB Media Group, and for that Belleme turned to Richard Norris, founder and creative director of Project 13, who Belleme met after he’d relocated to Asheville from Brooklyn, NY. Norris created the new logo and branding for the company, which is prominently displayed on the company’s office windows on Haywood Rd.
“Our original branding served us well in our first three years of business, however it was time for an upgrade. We were looking to express a more sophisticated look without compromising the creativity and personality of our team. I’m very happy with the process and the end results,” said Belleme.
Belleme also hired Dena Rutter of Dena Rutter Design and Julian Melissas of JM Labs to redesign the new JB Media Group website, www.jbmediagroupllc.com, a project that was overseen by Adrianne Gordon, the Director of Marketing and Operations at JB Media Group.
“The new website is a true reflection of JB Media Group. It’s creative, responsive, and vibrant; it showcases the work that we do, and it shows how we serve our clients and interact as a team,” said Gordon.
