A Merry Mars Hill Christmas

Mars Hill University will celebrate the holiday season with “A Merry Mars Hill Christmas.” The following events are scheduled and open to the public:

Lighting of the Mars Hill Christmas Tree

Thursday, December 1, 7:00 pm, on the Upper Quad (between College St. and NC 213/Cascade St.)

Event sponsored by the Student Government Association, Campus Activities Board, the Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre, and the MHU president’s office.

Annual Christmas Concert

Friday, December 2, 7:30 pm, Moore Auditorium

Event sponsored by the Mars Hill University Department of Music.

Bailey Mountain Cloggers Christmas Performance & Silent Auction

Saturday, December 3, 3:00 pm/5:00 pm, Moore Auditorium

Silent auction at 3:00 pm and performance at 5:00 pm.

Lessons and Carols

Monday, December 5, 7:00 pm, Broyhill Chapel

An evening of Christmas carols and selected Scripture readings to bring hope and light to a weary world. Event sponsored by the MHU chaplain’s office.

Christmas Dinner at the Caf

Thursday, December 8, 4:00–7:00 pm, Pittman Dining Hall

Meal may be purchased at the door for $9.79.

Scrooge!

December 8–10, 7:30 pm; December 10–11, 2:30 pm, Owen Theatre

Book, music, and lyrics by Leslie Bricusse.

Winter’s Tune
