The National Technical Honor Society (NTHS), located in Flat Rock N.C., seeks Marketing/Social Content Director to execute all marketing, branding and social media functions that promote the organizations mission and generate chapter/membership growth and related partnerships. Position is responsible for creating the annual marketing budget and theme in concert with the overall branding, reputation and history of NTHS.
The Marketing/Social Content Director will work collaboratively with all departments and vendors to ensure consistent and professional print pieces, social pieces as well as any digital/printed material to ensure consistency, timeliness, and importance to members, advisors, and corporate partners.
Duties include develop organizational marketing strategies and annual marketing theme; develop plan to communicate marketing theme and support internal departmental initiatives; craft and implement creative sales and marketing presentations; implementing branding recognition for NTHS materials; redesign printed literature, conference exhibits, and website copy as needed; create and publish monthly e-newsletters for members, advisors, and alumni and quarterly marketing campaigns via e-blasts; utilize metrics to evaluate interaction and engagement; write copy for feature stories, trade publications, and other printed material, including website copy; write blogs and promote social media in conjunction with contracted services, use analytical data to create measurable ROI on all marketing campaigns, website activity, and social media reach.
Position is expected to collaborate with staff to create accurate, timely marketing materials and communications and further communicate updates and changes to staff, advisors and members on a regular basis. Position will be expected to work with staff to develop parallel and congruent membership marketing and social media campaigns that meet immediate and future goals. Additional duties include travel for conferences as needed and maintaining memberships of the Alumni Professionals program.
