The Department of Revenue is offering a free workshop at Haywood Community College on August 11, 2016. This workshop is entitled “Sales and Use Tax Workshop” and will discuss the basics of sales and use taxes including registering for a sales and use tax account, learning about the most common types of sales and use taxes collected, and preparing and filing a sales and use tax return.
