PLI officially breaks ground on 30,000 sq. ft expansion

Plasticard Locktech International officially broke ground a couple of weeks ago on the previously announcedexpansion of their Asheville North Carolina based headquarters. The expansion, located in the Sweeten Creek Industrial Park will be completed in ten to twelve months and house additional warehouse and manufacturing space. The expansion and increased work load has resulted in a hiring campaign launched a few months ago to add forty to fifty new jobs to the plant.
G.E.M Constructors Inc of Marion, NC has won the contract as the General Contractor on the project. “It is always exciting to see that first shovel go into the ground on any new project. We are happy to be working with PLI on this exciting expansion of their building”, commented Todd Miller Executive Vice President of G.E.M.
