The Chamber strives to be the voice of Western North Carolina business at the General Assembly. Election Day brought continued change to North Carolina politics as North Carolinians put a Republican Governor in office and both state houses remained in republican control. It is essential that the Chamber and business continue to build relationships with our newly elected officials.
To accomplish this, the Chamber will be hosting the annual Elected Officials Reception on Friday, January 25 from noon until 1:30 pm at the Biltmore Estate.
The event is the culmination of the Governmental Affairs Task Force’s legislative work and an opportunity for the Chamber to present our top priorities before legislatures head to Raleigh to begin the long session.
