  • Janet Bull, MD was recently awarded Four Seasons’ 2019 Visionary Award which honors the recipient for visionary foresight, leadership, and innovation. Bull serves as chief medical and innovations officer for Four Seasons.

  • Avadim Health, Inc. announced that Kroger, with nearly 2,800 supermarkets in 35 states, will launch Theraworx® Relief Muscle Cramp Foam in over 2,500 locations. Kroger, who serves over 9 million customers per day, will have Theraworx® Relief  available for its loyal customers who suffer from muscle cramps and spasms and symptoms associated with Restless Legs Syndrome. Kroger is the nation’s fourth largest private employer.

Outreach

  • This weekend, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., there will be a conference that specializes on senior pet support at the Renaissance Hotel. There will be 40+ vendors talking about care for older dogs and cats.
  • On June 13 IFB Solutions hosts the annual golf tournament at  the Omni Grove Park Inn’s fabulous course starting at 12:30. Proceeds will be used to send children who are blind to summer camp.   • The YMCA of WNC offers Horizons and Camp Quest at no charge to students in grades 5-8 in the Buncombe County Schools. Funding is provided by federal and community grants as well as donations to the YMCA Annual Campaign.   • AdventHealth Hendersonville wants to thank the community members who took part in its annual Community Leadership Initiative featuring Franklin Covey’s The Speed of Trust: The One Thing That Changes Everything. 100% of proceeds from registrations for this event went directly to the Henderson County Education Foundation (HCEF) and its Leader In Me Program. Thanks to the participation of more than 85 community members and its partnership with Franklin Covey, AdventHealth was able to donate nearly $10,000 to the HCEF and the Leader In Me Program. This program teaches crucial life skills to the youngest members of our communities who are destined to become future leaders.
