SUSTAINABILITY

Dec. 1 – Racing to Extinction Documentary with Race Car Driver Leilani Münter – UNC Asheville’s Student Environmental Center presents a free screening of the documentary Racing to Extinction, and discussion by race car driver Leilani Münter about her environmental activism and her role in the film. Dec. 2-3 – Student Art Sale – Handmade, affordable works by UNC Asheville art students – ceramics, paintings and many other media – for a head start on holiday shopping. 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2 and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3 in S. Through Dec. 16 – All My Relations – exhibition of photos of the Cherokee by Eastern Band artist Shan Goshorn. These 40 black and white photographs of contemporary Cherokee people were taken over a 25-year period.
