On October 14th, Wai Mauna Asheville SUP Tours will host professional paddler, April Zilg, for a 2-hour paddleboarding and fitness clinic on the French Broad River in Asheville. Zilg is currently ranked #11 in the world and is the highest ranked paddleboarder to ever offer a clinic here in Asheville.
Currently living in Wrightsville Beach, the North Carolina native also holds the record for the world’s highest SUP session when she paddleboarded at over 16,000 feet on a lake in the Himalayas. Her clinics focus on everything from proper paddling form and technique to tips on fitness, training, and strategy for doing your best on race day.
