Zounds Hearing to make a lot of noise with ribbon cutting festivities

July 28, 2015

While most ribbon cuttings tend to be muted affairs, Brent Steele, MD of Zounds Hearing in Asheville was “hearing” none of it.  His thoughts, “we’re giving people a new lease on life.  Better hearing enables them to be more social, more engaged with friends and family with an overall better quality of life, and that’s certainly something worth making a bit of “noise” about!”  On Thursday July 30 at his location at 1863 Hendersonville Road, in the Skyland Shopping Center, Brent and co-owner (and mother) Joan, a retired pharmacist, will open their store to a full “symphony” of activities for Seniors in Western Carolina.  The event will take place from 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM, includes lunch, and is free and open to the public.

As a part of the open house, Dr. Steele has brought together some of Asheville’s leading experts and resources for the growing number of Senior residents in and around the Asheville community. Notes Dr. Steele, “our focus is NOT on getting older, but on staying younger:  enjoying the next stages of life. We’re bringing together industry specialists to share their knowledge to help educate our Senior neighbors and adult children so they can make the best choices for their individual situations.
